Barbie Run
The first Barbie Run in Indonesia, a 5K beach fun run at Ancol for Barbie’s 60th anniversary.
Barbie Run had been held in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Malaysia, Mexico and other countries before it came to Indonesia. The Barbie 60th Anniversary Fun Run took place on 2 November 2019 at Lagoon Beach, Ancol, Jakarta, under the theme “You Can Be Anything”.
The 5 km route ran over the sand and through the Ancol area at sunset. After the run, participants stayed for entertainment and door prizes, and the best Barbie-themed costumes won prizes.
